The item was originally made custom for my parent's master bedroom seating lounge in 1984 and I have kept it for 40 years. It is assembled with metal and wood dowels and can be dismantled into around 24 pieces for ease of moving. Lletting it go feels like saying goodbye to a piece of both design and my family history.
