An akari model «55dd» on «bb3» base by isamu noguchi 1970s. Original shade in washi & bamboo rims. Structure in black lacquered metal & pebble base in cast iron and bamboo stem. Cast manufacturer's mark to underside of base 'made in japan'. Hand-made form realized by ozeki company, gifu, japan. Marked with noguchi signature and trademark red symbol on the shade.
good vintage condition. A minor restoration of the lampshade was carried out (last photo in the gallery). There are traces of use, which only emphasize the age of the lamp.
