piece is made of beechwood, with a light walnut-colored finish.

there are three" s"-shaped hooks, and three lower hooks, that finish with a "t"-shape, to easily hang hats or umbrellas. The two s hooks on the left and right are taller than the middle one (see photos.)

it is a production from japy frères. A maker's sticker is present on the back, as well as a serial # (see photo.) the shape, dimensions and design pattern of the piece, along with the screw mountings of the hooks at the back, are typical of the maker.

piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age, slightly faded colors and previous use commensurate with time, as well as patina of age and wax, on the overall structure (see photos.) some small marks of age on the hooks and marks on the outer part, of the lower part of the middle hook (see photo.) some very small marks on the inner curved parts of the hooks (see photos.) two ancient drilling holes on the center, as a previous owner may have drilled to hang the coat rack (see photos.)

piece has been cleaned, oiled, waxed and polished, with respect to its original patina of time.

note: an additional hanging system has been added at some point by a previous owner, to make it easier to hang. I have decided to leave it, but the original hooking system is present as well. Should you decide to remove it, it is up to you (there are four screws to unscrew if you decide to (see photo.)
