Lovely pair of vintage porcelain bird figurines, each featuring a blue and white bird in flight above soft pink flowers and leafy branches. The sculpting and glaze work capture delicate movement and texture, with soft gradients of blue, blush, and green against creamy ivory bases with light gilt accents. Made in England by Copeland, the historic successor to Spode renowned for its finely modeled porcelain, this pair likely dates to the 1940s–1960s. The pair mirrors beautifully, making them ideal for symmetrical display on a mantel, console, or shelf. A charming example of Copeland’s fine mid-century English craftsmanship.
