A rare and finely detailed black-and-white lithograph after the work of celebrated French caricaturist Honoré Daumier (1808–1879).
Titled “Les Gens de Médecine – Le Cortège du Général des Apothicaires” (“The People of Medicine – The Procession of the General of Apothecaries”), this satirical print humorously depicts figures from the medical profession in a mock military procession—one of Daumier’s recurring themes critiquing authority and social institutions.

This 20th-century engraving reproduction captures the expressive linework and wit that made Daumier a master of social commentary.
