A fine example of 19th-century American craftsmanship, this miniature pram displays beautifully as a decorative accent, photo prop, or centerpiece in a nursery or parlor setting. Its graceful silhouette and authentic patina embody the charm of the Victorian era.

Condition

Very good antique condition consistent with age and use. The wicker body is stable and intact. The black fabric canopy shows gentle fading but no rips or tears. Wooden spoked wheels with iron rims show wear and age; the iron frame retains its old patina with light surface rust. The paint on the wooden handle is chipped and worn. One small area of wicker (about 1") shows an old gold-paint test that was never completed. Structurally sound and displays beautifully. Some wooden areas show minor drying splits.
