This super cool Pair of MCM vintage 1970s coffee tables designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates is from their "Sculptura" line. They called them "Goop Tables". Bronzed patina.

It is in the brutalist style with homage to famed MCM designer Paul Evans. The elaborately decorated resin surfaces were borrowed from Evans’ bespoke Brutalist studio pieces. The resin on these side tables has a heavily textured surface resembling molten metal. The surface looks metallic with gunmetal gray, bronze, gold, and black tones. There are etched elements and goopy molded forms adorning the facade. The table top is the original black laminate. Can be used as an indoor side table or add a glass top and make it a coffee table. Unique and rare this table is priced to sell.

Craft Associates, an iconic MCM furniture brand, was largely the work of founder and forward thinking designer Adrian Pearsall and his wife Dorie. The pair assembled sexy, stylish furniture in their Pennsylvania basement that they later sold from the back of a truck to the era's premiere department stores in Philadelphia and NYC.

All of our items are being sold in the condition we found them in, with minor flaws, because they are either a semi-Antique or Antique and may need slight restoration to bring them back to showroom condition. We sell everything bought from estates directly to you. Most items have the dust of age and could use a cleaning. See less
