Offered is a polychrome painted ceramic bowl from the Chinesco tradition of ancient Nayarit, hand-formed and finely burnished, features flared walls that boast hand painted chocolate brown slip over a cream ground, includes a wide stylized feather band above a radiating 8-point linear pattern, possibly a floral design.

Origin: West Mexico.
Period: 200 BCE-200 CE.
Material: Earthenware with pigment.
