It has patina. It has rust and spots where the paint is missing. But it is charming, raw industrial and is has character. This old 1950s or early 60s table lamp has been in use for decades in an industrial environment. It can be adjusted slight in height and at the shade and it features a heavy cast iron foot. Unknown Scandinavian or Danish maker circa 1950s-60s.
