Georg Jensen (1866–1935) founded his silversmith workshop in Copenhagen in 1904. The firm quickly achieved international recognition for its combination of Scandinavian design aesthetics and exceptional craftsmanship. Henning Koppel (1918–1981) was one of Georg Jensen’s most influential designers, and with “Caravel” he created one of the most iconic modernist cutlery patterns of the mid-20th century. See less
