Offered is a large casserole pot/Dutch Oven with lid by quintessential mid 20th Century brand Cathrineholm in their iconic Lotus pattern. It features a black porcelain enameled raw core steel base, a steel ring handle that can be snapped on or off, their signature dome lid with a wide bowl top handle., and their enameled steel bases. The lotus design was created by decorator Arne Clausen for Cathrineholm in the 1960s. It was applied to shapes designed by enamel artist Grete Prytz Kittelsen. The base is cream and the avocado color is very saturated.. all images taken in natural daylight and true to color.
Measures 12.5" diameter, 16" handle to handle, 6.25" tall at rim, 8" tall with lid. Capacity is approximately 8 quarts

This pot and lid are in overall good condition but show some signs of age appropriate use. The lid has a very small nick near the rim underside. The pot has a very small nick in the enamel near the black base. The interior of the pot has been deep cleaned and scrubbed, but has some residual discoloration. The handle has some spots of hard burnt black due to the item being cleaned without removing the handle and food spillover getting baked in. We will tackle it some more before shipping. Any wear is commensurate with use. To remove handle press down gently but firmly and it will come off. Reverse to replace. less
