Rare: Anitique, Art Deco Japanese Tall Plaster Lamp Decorated with Dragons and Monkey Relief, ca.1920.
Dimensions: 54" top of socket
A unique Japanese Plaster Tall Floor Lamp. Richly ornate in 4-sections with writhing 3-clawed dragons and a grimacing monkey diety HiHi. The plaster lamp body sits on a hollow brass foot. We attribute this piece to the Art Deco/ Asian Revival Period, 1920s.
The overall glaze is an ivory enamel. The glaze is heavily crazed as seen in my many pictures.
In working condition. 3-stage socket.
