Crafted in richly figured mahogany and designed for gracious entertaining. The circular top is edged with a scalloped frame and fitted with nine recessed circular wells, one at center encircled by eight around, perfectly sized to cradle plates or small serving dishes. The top tilts upright on command, allowing the table to store neatly or present as a decorative focal point when not in use. A spiraled urn-form column anchors the design, rising with crisp twist turning above a tripod base. Each of the three legs terminates in classic ball-and-claw feet, underscoring the piece’s late-Georgian sensibility and Chippendale influence. In good condition, visible and minimal wear.
