The egg opens in two parts and the bottom has 3 pointed feet. This beautiful box was likely made in Japan during the 1950s. Backstamp: none evident. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=1-3/4 inches, Length from side to side=3-1/4 inches. This marvelous egg shaped trinket box, sitting on little pointed feet has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks or other imperfections.
