The painting includes multiple vignettes occurring in a forest setting. At the foreground of the painting there's a temple with multiple elites seated in elegant alcoves being entertained by animals, people and games. In the background there are two scenes that are pulled from Indian mythology.

The painting in the photos appears with a blue tint. This is due to the lighting when the photos were being taken, the colors on the canvas are more of a neutral green.

Some wear and areas of missing paint in the middle on the roofs of the temples. There is also some restoration work on the top edge of the sky. Damage is included in photographs.
