Peaceful and beautifully executed original watercolor painting titled “Rae’s Lake, Kings Canyon National Park” by the late artist Sylvia J. Kasparie (1938-2020).
Kasparie was known for her luminous watercolor landscapes capturing the natural beauty of California’s parks and mountain ranges. This serene composition depicts Rae Lake in Kings Canyon National Park, rendered with soft, transparent washes of blue, gold, and green — evoking the stillness of alpine waters framed by snow-capped Sierra peaks and sunlit autumn foliage.
Signed by the artist at lower right and titled, inscribed, and numbered on the verso (94–272). Elegantly presented under glass in a brushed gold metal frame with a neutral double mat, this piece reflects the enduring appeal of California plein-air traditions.
A timeless choice for collectors of regional landscape art or for interiors embracing California coastal, rustic lodge, or mountain modern aesthetics.
