Born during the early years of the 19th century, this French side table features a rectangular top with rounded corners and edges, sitting above a single frieze drawer, lined with paper on the inside. A beautifully scalloped apron runs on all sides of the table, allowing it to be used as a side table pushed against a wall, or as a floating center table. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs, whose curvy lines are a direct influence from the Louis XV period.
