Its organic lines and pointed tip evoke a Japanese eggplant (nasu) or pea pod, giving the piece a distinctly lifelike character.

Dimensions: height 24 cm, diameter 4 cm.

The opening is cut near the top. A decorative hanging ring on the back allows for easy wall mounting, and there is also an impressed maker’s mark on the reverse.
