Each chair features an elaborately carved crest rail with scrolling acanthus motifs and a central oval cartouche, turned spindle backs, carved lower splats, and turned legs joined by stretchers. The seats retain their woven cane inserts, adding warmth and texture while keeping the silhouettes visually light.

The oak displays a rich, warm patina consistent with age. A striking and substantial set, perfect for a traditional dining room, historic home, or layered eclectic interior.

These chairs have been lovingly used, from my mother-in-law to our household. The seats have been professionally re-caned in recent years, and are tight and in excellent condition.
