A magnificent 19th-century French ceramic lavabo, beautifully hand-crafted and adorned with fleur-de-lis motifs. Once used in grand provincial homes for washing hands before indoor plumbing, this piece now stands as an exquisite decorative object celebrating French artistry and tradition. The soft green glaze bears a noble patina from age, while the graceful urn and matching basin create an unmistakable presence.
Though the spout is now missing, it can easily be replaced if functional use is desired. The urn’s lid shows an early, stable repair—adding character and authenticity to its storied past. Whether displayed together or separately, this lavabo embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of 19th-century France.
Weighing nearly 40 pounds. Dimensions: Urn, 14.5"L x 13"W x 22"H; Bowl, 16.5"L x 15"W x 4"H. Mounting hardware is not included.
