"Wild Roses" is an abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas by artist Trixie Pitts. The palette is bright and refreshing, and includes a wide range of color. Neutral tans and dark gray offset the swipes of bright pink and soft pink, yellow as well as subtle and bright green anecdotes turquoise. Bold, spontaneous, and varied brushwork and different thicknesses of paint add to the excitement of this piece. The bright colors are held in check with the beautiful soft muted tones.
