Beautifully hand enamelled Famille Rose, Republic Period converted porcelain table lamp mounted on an old hand carved wood stand. The colourful polychrome lamp has a wrap around scene and is signed/chopped by the artist in red on the upper side.
Depicts a Magistrate & his companion travelling by horse with heavenly ladies playing instruments above in the clouds. Lot's of landscape, pine trees and rocks. All very well painted.
Upper black and orange border with hanging beads with lucky coins over tapered long neck and graceful shoulder with scroll and petal painted bands, above a white ground with hand painted orange chrysanthemums.
This lamp is weighted.
Republic Period 19112 - 1949.
