Likely commissioned by a wealthy patron—possibly a musician of high standing—this trunk would have accompanied its owner on travels from concert halls to royal courts across Europe.The facade is richly decorated with geometric panels and a hand-painted inscription reading “Kammer von Ste. Bach Anno 1737”, possibly linking it to a private chamber or prominent family.
