Vintage 1930-era Bak-Serv Overn-Proof Bowl from Paden City Pottery (P.C.P. Co.) in Golden Acacia Pattern. Made in USA in 1936 (likely) as part of the "Bak-Serv" line which was oven-proof
and often carried the Good Housekeeping Institute Seal of Approval. The idea with the Bak-Serv line was that you could prepare, bake and serve in the same vessel/container reducing clean-up time. An early version of what's come to be known as a casserole dish. The Golden Acacia design features orange and yellow flowers with brown stems.
