Beautiful Sheffield vintage silverplated tray in fair condition. Great for serving, or displaying! The size is 22.5”wide, 15” deep, and 2 3/4” tall. The weight is almost 5 pounds. It has raised feet and sturdy handles. This could be used everyday or saved for a special occasion. It’s large enough to use for a tea service, barware, or on a kitchen island with flowers.
The condition is poor on the face of the tray. It is pitted, as shown in the photos. Near the bottom of the edging you can see the copper underlayer. I’m listing it because I know it could be used beautifully with a little adaptation. Doilies could be placed on the tray if it is used occasionally, or a piece of mirror cut to size would cover the damage, and it would be stunning!
It is polished and ready for display, but you may choose to polish it further.
