Unframed original watercolor on watercolor paper by Roberta Thresher, of a well-detailed forest in autumn, with a large birch tree in the foreground and autumn-hued foliage in the background. Verso is a second watercolor, a seascape, with which the artist was apparently dissatisfied.
Roberta Thresher was a Massachusetts artist, known primarily locally for her realistic, natural landscapes.
