They are nesters, and are truly versatile items. They can be used ask light cooking ware apparently (though, I would certainly never), as serving bowls or as utilitarian tabletop vessels, etc. The bowls are in the patented and desirable Nambe, 8-alloy metal {(which famously includes aluminum). The walls are strong and thick and the items weighty. Nambe alloy maintains a high gloss if one desires. The photos in this listing were taken outside, at dusk and some of the orange reflection of the sun can be seen in the photographs. Though deep vintage, probably 1970s, they are in excellent condition, with light surface age appropriate vestiges visible.

Nambe is so much about the shape of items, and these are fine examples in which w basic geometric shape is molded into a works of artistic form. The bowls are No 575 and No 572, measuring 11.25 x 22.35 x 3 and 10 x 10 respectively. Together the bowls weight approximately 11 lbs. Made in New Mexico, USA.
