Antique 1800's Hardwood Oak Cobblers Bench Accent Table
This here is a early 19th century Cobbler's bench. Constructed with square head nails (used late 1700's - 1830's) and hand hewed peg joints. What an amazing piece of history that has countless stories to tell. This piece belongs in a museum, but it can be all yours. From this a thick glass top has been added so it could be a useful piece of furniture in home or business. With enough clearance one can add cobbler accent tools such as tack hammer, nails, polish and brushes to complete the look, let your imagination guide you.

The bench has been modified and had a glass coffee tabletop added to help give it a more modern application. The glass top is a repurposed piece and has a few light scratches that show up in bright lighting but fades away in casual indoor lighting. Last pictures show worse case of the glass scratches. less
