Professionally restored by Cathouse Iron Beds, a studio specializing in the preservation and refinishing of antique iron furniture, the bed retains its original mortised hook-and-slot joinery and heavy cast-iron frame. The custom hand-distressed white and black patina was carefully applied to highlight its intricate floral scrollwork and brass accents, celebrating over a century of history while complementing modern interiors.

The frame features ornate cast detailing and original brass accents, complemented by a hand-applied distressed white and black finish that highlights the bed’s sculptural form. Its authentic mortised hook-and-slot joinery reflects the ingenuity of late 1800s to early 1900s iron bed design, no bolts required, just the precision of well-crafted cast fittings.
