Perfect for a lemon tree, … Read more Large antique 19th century English Gothic oak jardiniere, garden tub or planter with iron mounts. Perfect for a lemon tree, ferns or other cherished house plant. Also useful at the fireplace hearth for kindling. Constructed from individual wood staves joined by iron hoops. Ring handles at the sides and finished with a carved crown design around the top rim. Measures 17 1/2" tall x 15 3/4" diameter, 18" across over handles. Pleasing old patina. Good condition - slight wood shrinkage and a few staves loose but stable, oxidation to metal mounts. A beautiful, rare example. See less
