I believe it to be wool & c1900.
Label is Macdonald & Campbell, Philadelphia.
The tatty black plain label, on the one side, could be removed.
Heavy, thick pile, doubled, & with hand muff areas for two:-).
A rich golden brown & black/grey reverse.
