A beautiful, antique Biedermeier Style seven drawer chest by Guido Zichele, made in Italy for Bloomingdales. The chest is made from Cherry Wood with a fine and very attractive Poplar Burl veneer with black trim. Very well designed with large dovetailed drawers with locks, papered in a lovely green background paper with tiny gold dots and sun symbols. The chest has a beautifully shaped top drawer over six long drawers. The locks have metal shield shaped escutcheons with three keys. The original tag with the maker is included.
The chest is in overall very good antique condition. One of the key hole cover plates is loose as shown.
