Fine original abstract mixed media by Klaus Kallenberger. (1939- ). Artwork is signed on lower left corner and dated 1968. It depicts a pure abstract subject in watercolors light green tones, black ink details and lines on an off white paper background. Elegantly framed in carved wood with a linen mat.
Klaus Kallenberger is a known artist and craftsman who has worked in jewelry and silversmithing. He is also known for oil on canvas paintings. Klaus Kallenberger was born in Germany but received his art degrees from Bethany College in Kansas. He taught at the University of Kansas in the early and mid 1960s. He then taught at Middle Tennessee State University from 1966 for decades. He has spent his entire life teaching and creating art at a supreme level.
