The hand-formed work features the figure rendered with a smiling face, clasping a staff as the dragon presses closely against him, its body richly incised with swirling motifs. The glaze combines earthy brown tones with contrasting white, highlighting both the beast?s dramatic texture and the figure's animated features. This dynamic composition reflects themes of myth, protection, and human interaction with symbolic creatures in Asian art traditions. A striking decorative piece that embodies both humor and strength.
