A contemplative signed print by Sir William Russell Flint, titled Eve and Two Victorians. This monochromatic sketch captures three female figures in varied poses—one sensually reclining, the others rendered with Victorian elegance. Flint’s mastery of line and texture brings depth to the figures’ garments and postures, evoking a sense of intimacy and timeless grace.
Purchased in the 1960s from Daniel Rees, a respected dealer in Jackson, Michigan. Held in our family collection ever since, this piece reflects Flint’s celebrated ability to portray feminine form and emotion. His works are held in major institutions including the British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
