The plate dates to late 19th, best of the best quality work, phenomenal hand painting on porcelain. Gorgeous gilt border, 3 different designs and jeweling with oxblood red on pink base. Center medallion features a gorgeous happy scene, a young lady is bringing cups of hot chocolate on the tray. Painting is signed in lower right "Matteus". Back of the plate is marked with a blue period Beehive mark and additional orange mark "Chokoladen Mädehen". Condition is very good, near mint (please see photos). Size is large and impressive 9.5" diameter wide. This is a great addition to any quality collection! See less
