All sit underneath a palm tree, which forms the bowl of the piece. Lightly impressed, 'AFRICA' to the side of the foot. Colouration: green, brown, turquoise, are predominant. This piece represents the continent of Africa. It is one of a set of compotes by George Jones in the 'Continents’ series. Bears a pattern number, '3287'.
