Presenting a rare, authentic R. Lalique "Ambre d'Orsay" perfume bottle, circa 1911, designed by the master French glass artist René Lalique in France. The piece features a unique, flattened, rounded body of molded, frosted amber glass with a ribbed design and textured, pod-like medallions. It is complete with its original, matching stopper, which is crafted in a complimentary fan or 'coquillage' pattern. The signature "R. Lalique France" is etched into the base, confirming its authenticity and pre-1945 production. Measuring approximately 4" in diameter and 5" tall with the stopper in, the bottle is in excellent, complete condition, It is highly desirable for collectors of Art Deco and Art Nouveau glass. demonstrating the enduring legacy of the Lalique design house.
