This vintage handwoven Zapotec wool flatweave rug from the 1970s–1980s features a beautiful reversible design in soft desert tones of peach, gold, olive, and brown. Woven on a traditional treadle loom in Oaxaca, Mexico, it showcases classic diamond and stepped motifs symbolizing harmony and protection. The pattern is the same on both sides, reflecting expert craftsmanship and all-natural wool fibers with a subtly time-softened patina.
Perfect as a small accent rug in front of a bathroom vanity, entryway, wall hanging, or layered textile in bohemian, Southwestern, or eclectic interiors.
