This elegant pair of 1970s Italian travertine end tables features finely veined tops with distinctive scalloped edges, set on solid octagonal pedestal bases. Their softly contoured, cloud-like forms, paired with the warm striations of natural stone, create a sculptural presence that interacts beautifully with light.
Generously scaled, the tops provide ample surface area while maintaining visual lightness. The interplay of organic form and architectural base lends versatility, making these tables well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, or seating areas across modern, contemporary, and Italian-inspired interiors.
A refined example of 1970s Italian modernist design, this authentic vintage pair remains timeless in both material and form.

The travertine surfaces display a natural patina with light surface wear, minor scratches, open pores, and subtle etching consistent with age and the inherent characteristics of authentic travertine. No major chips, cracks, or stains are present. The tables are structurally sound, stable, and ready for immediate use. Natural veining and texture vary slightly between the two pieces, as expected with solid stone. REFER to PHOTO: #18 (last photo): Each tabletop originally had four wooden centering blocks glued to the underside to help align the top with the pedestal base. Several blocks were detached or missing upon receipt from previous owner. They have since been securely reattached using a stronger, more appropriate adhesive. less
