Offered here is an authentic Scottish 3½-gallon cast-iron boiler / cauldron made by the Falkirk Iron Company, part of their Imperial export line. This is a scarce, capacity-marked example complete with its original lid and bail handle.
Maker: Falkirk Iron Co., Scotland
Date: c.1900–1930s (export era, post-1891 “Made in Scotland” marking)
Markings:
Front oval cartouche: “IMPERIAL / 3½ GALLS / MADE IN SCOTLAND”
Base stamped: “FALKIRK / IMPERIAL / 3½ GALL.” with visible gate mark
Lid handle bears foundry code “5X” (or possibly “3X”) — pattern/production mark
Form:
Oval cauldron with opposed tear-drop lug mounts (twin stud bosses) and original wrought-iron bail handle; fitted oval lid with strap handle.

Overall: 14" L (handle to handle) × 12" W × 8.5" H
Mouth opening: ~10" × 10.5"
