This collection includes four tall cordial glasses and two matching champagne coupes, all featuring a beautiful butterscotch yellow color that fades to a milky white interior. These hand-blown pieces are characteristic of the mid-century modern aesthetic from the 1950s and 1960s, a period when Carlo Moretti was celebrated for its innovative and colorful designs.
Each glass is a unique work of art, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the Carlo Moretti workshop with their elegant, tall stems and vibrant color. The cased glass method—where a layer of opaque white glass is covered with colored glass—creates a mesmerizing depth and a subtle ombre effect. Excellent vintage condition. One of the coupes has a small 1/8 " crack at the base, same coupe has a seed on the rim. Seeds are a natural part of the process, formed by trapped gases in the molten glass or incomplete melting (reflected in price, see the last wo pictures).
