This exceptional executive desk was designed in the 1970s by Gianni Moscatelli for Formanova, an iconic Italian design house. A rare piece on the market, it perfectly illustrates the combination of brutalist modernism and functional elegance characteristic of high-end office furniture of the 1960s and 1970s.
The generously proportioned top is crafted from richly grained exotic wood, resting on a satin-finished stainless steel structure with an inverted T-shaped base, typical of the industrial style of the time. Two floating modules fit beneath the top: on one side, a pedestal with lockable drawers, and on the other, a storage module with sliding doors.
