Edition of 200. Printed by Charles Sorlier and Ferdinand Mourlot. Hand signed and numbered in pencil. Bown and with minor stains. Ref. Sorlier CS 45. Marc Chagall commissioned Charles Sorlier to create a suite of lithographs after some of his kajor works of those years, then printed by Mourlot in Paris. The basis for the present print is a maquette that the artist created for a fragment of the glass windows of Metz Cathedral. This motif was also used as a poster for the exhibition in Nice "Marc Chagall, Maquettes pour l'œuvre monumental" at the Musée national du message biblique. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
