Image dimension: 40.5x52 cm. Sheet dimension 68.5x74.3 cm. Signed on the plate lower right. Plate from Views of Rome. Excellent impression in the second state of 5, from the first Roman edition with the address and price, on heavy laid paper with watermark "fleur-de-lis in a double circle surmounted by the letter B". A truly beautiful impression with wide margins as originally issued. Very slight trace of a vertical binding crease in the center, and two printing creases in the lower margin. Minimal paper residue at the top of the back. Ref. Focillon, 735. Hind, 20. Wilton-Ely, 187. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
