Sublime Eclipse Eyeball lamp by Luis Perez De La Oliva for Grin Luz.
Spain, 1970s.
Very rare piece by this fabulous designer.
Art Deco style with an iconic Eclipse design.
Chrome-plated metal base in the shape of a cut stone.
It supports a chrome-plated metal arm in the shape of a half-square ring.
The central half-sphere, made of lacquered green metal, pivots on its axis.
Inside, another chrome-plated metal half-sphere pivots.
This allows the light to be directed and its intensity to be varied.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
