this kinkeldey-designed ceiling light / pendant lamp draws stylistic inspiration from the palace and castle lighting of past centuries, specifically the empire and regency eras.

* 5-tier chandelier.
* 65 thick, faceted glass prisms, each measuring 9.5 cm x 6 cm, made of very heavy, hard glass—not run-of-the-mill chandelier glass!
* presumably not lead crystal (which would be the case if the lead content exceeded 24%), as we do not know this for certain; hence the description “crystal glass prisms.”
* high refractive index.
* gold-plated brass frame.

the chandelier will be shipped disassembled; for safety reasons, the crystal elements are individually packaged in an extra box and must be attached to the chandelier frame one by one by the buyer.


condition
the chandelier is in more than good condition—it is very well-maintained and fully functional—with signs of age typical for its age, such as minor, superficial scratches on the brass and glass, as well as very few small, angular chips on the glass (which, however, are mostly on the back and are almost invisible in everyday use unless you look very closely).
as already mentioned, all the signs of wear mentioned so far are only slightly visible upon very close inspection and are not significant …\.
