On the bottom, a legible signature of the Katzhütte Hertwig factory, used in the first half of the 20th century. The schematic form of a clump of grass in the base is similar to the art deco period, which allows the figure to be dated to the interwar period. Hertwig has produced a whole series of sighthounds in various sizes and shots. It is a collector's item.
