A desk in solid pine designed by Ate van Apeldoorn and manufactured in his own wood workshop, Houtwerk Hattem, in the Netherlands.
The desk has visible joint connections between the wooden pieces, a recurring element in van Apeldoorn’s designs. Ate van Apeldoorn is known for his simple designs, preferring functionality over anything else. He was known for his attention to detail and craftmanship.
The desk remains in good condition and has acquired a beautiful patina throughout the years. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
