Marked “Sarreguemines” and stamped “Made in Germany,” placing manufacture during the period when Sarreguemines was part of Germany (1871–1918) — nicely dated to pre-WWI. The pitcher’s graceful single handle and softly modeled body make it an excellent example of late 19th / early 20th century French earthenware, perfect for French country, farmhouse, or European pottery collectors.
